Dexter Baker

Dexter is an inspector at Brown Roofing with nearly 30 years of experience in public service and building safety. Originally from Texas, where big skies and hard work go hand in hand, Dexter served as a Captain with the City of Lubbock Fire Department. It was in this position that he developed a deep understanding of building construction, safety, and how to approach complex situations with clarity and confidence.

Over the course of his career, Dexter has built a strong foundation through training in hazardous materials response, emergency care, and instruction. Today, that translates into a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach when helping homeowners understand what’s going on and how to fix it the right way.

At Brown Roofing, Dexter works directly with homeowners to understand their concerns, inspect their roofs, and provide clear, reliable solutions to protect their homes. He takes pride in helping homeowners feel confident in the decisions they make and enjoys the opportunity to solve problems alongside them.

Outside of work, Dexter enjoys reading, exercising, exploring new places, and spending time with his family.
