The owners of this colonial home in Farmington, CT were not experiencing any problems when they reached out to Klaus Larsen but they did note that their roof was 22 years old and it was time to replace it. After replacing all of the damaged plywood decking and replacing it with new decking, three rows of Ice & Water sheild was installed, along with a Synthetic Underlayment to repel water. A new Ridge Vent was installed for attic ventilation and a moisture barrier. A new exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper was put on the roof as well. The shingle color was chosen by the homeowners which was Onyx Black. It complemented the gray exterior of the home very well.

Built in 1987, the roof was beginning to show signs of it's age, along with moss and mold collecting. After the Klaus Larsen team tore off one layer of existing roofing materials, the damaged plywood was removed and replaced. Three rows of G Ice & Water was installed, along with the ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment. The existing chimney flashing was removed and replaced with new, lead flashing. We installed architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color of Estate Gray, were used to complete the new roof!
