Walter in Southington, CT, needed a roof replacement for his modular home that’s part of an HOA community. The roof was a 3-pitch style, and while it didn’t have a chimney, there were still a few details that required careful attention. During the replacement, our crew installed two roof vents and a new pipe boot to ensure the home had the right amount of ventilation and was fully sealed against leaks. We also replaced three sheets of plywood decking that showed signs of wear, making sure the new roofing system had a solid foundation. Flashing was added where the home meets the porch roof, using durable metal to create a watertight seal and protect this transition point. Once all the prep and sealing were complete, we finished the project with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Frostone Grey, giving Walter’s home a fresh new look and strong protection that meets HOA requirements.

Seeking a contractor to carry out a roof replacement, owners of this 2005 single-family home trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. We started by tearing off 1 layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 3 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next we installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys, etc. For shingles, we installed Slate Grey. These shingles included a 10 year Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Warranty. Lastly, we installed a Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation. In terms of siding, we chose Mastic Carved Wood 44 Siding in the color Desert Sand. This attractive home is now complete with its new Klaus Larsen roof installment!

We were brought out to the Farmington Valley for this mighty Avon home. We tackled it just as we would any other job and it looks beautiful!

The roof on this Avon, CT home was experiencing very severe leaking, which was doing a great deal of damage to the upstairs ceiling. We started by tearing off both layers of the old roof and recycling the asphalt shingles. We covered the flat roof over the bathroom with Mile-Hide Mod Bit 1.5 flat roofing, and installed a VentSure ridge vent.
