A home in Deep River, CT with a 20 year old roof was due for a replacement after it began leaking. 

Mauricio in Deep River trusted us with his beautiful home, and this project required extra care from the moment we arrived. He wanted a full roof replacement in the Driftshake shingle color, but also asked that all of the existing copper, including the chimney flashing, be preserved because of its natural patina. Before any work began, our crew took the time to protect the property exactly as requested. The homeowner had just invested in a new driveway and landscaping, so we placed wood under all equipment and built plywood teepees over the shrubs to ensure nothing was damaged during the installation. Once the home and grounds were fully protected, we moved forward with the roof replacement in the IKO Dynast shingles in the color Driftshake, and finished by adding Raindrop gutter guards to every gutter for long-term performance and easier maintenance.

An attic is like the thermometer of an ailing house. Structural damage and rotting plywood may not always be visible from the outside, but we can certainly tell by what we see occurring underneath the roof. When we surveyed the attic of this home in Hebron, we found signs of water damage. An aluminum drip edge was installed along the roof perimeter and the chimney was re-pointed and flashed with lead.
