When the Erin noticed leaks developing around their existing skylights and significant granule loss across the roof, they initially reached out hoping a repair would be enough. After a thorough inspection, they recognized the value of proactively replacing the roof before more extensive damage could occur.

Our team installed a complete Klaus Signature System. As part of the roof replacement, our team cut in and installed three new skylights in the cathedral ceiling, bringing in abundant natural light while ensuring the roof is properly sealed and protected for years to come.

Beautiful new roof and skylights 

Yaping in Billerica, MA, moved forward with a full roof replacement on both the main home and garage after the existing roof system began showing its age. Although there were no active leaks at the time, the roof dated back to 1994 and had reached the point where replacement was the smarter long-term solution.

Once our crew began the tear-off process, we found two layers of old roofing that needed to be completely removed before the new system could be installed properly. We also replaced the three pipe boots, re-flashed four skylights, and installed new chimney flashing to help protect the more vulnerable areas of the roof.

To build the new system, we installed SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in key leak-prone sections, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the decking, and SealoronXT Deck Tape along the plywood seams for additional moisture protection.

The roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Glacier, giving the home and garage a fresh, updated appearance. We also installed SmartRidge II ridge ventilation along the roof peak to improve airflow through the attic and help the roofing system perform properly year-round.

With the project complete, Yaping now has a fully updated roofing system designed for durability, ventilation, and long-term protection.
