A recent storm caused a large tree to fall on Mr. Shawn's home in Valdosta, prompting him to reach out to us after a referral from a close friend. Our sales representative, Blake, promptly visited the property and introduced himself to Mr. Shawn. After providing some background about our company, Blake began inspecting the roof. He climbed onto the roof and quickly identified numerous missing and lifted shingles across its surface. The shingles were noticeably faded and smooth, indicating the roof had long surpassed its expected lifespan. To prevent further damage, Blake tarped the roof and carefully explained the materials required for a replacement, along with a detailed breakdown of labor costs. Mr. Shawn was very impressed with Blake's clear and professional presentation, agreeing to move forward with the project without hesitation. We immediately scheduled the job and got to work. Our crew arrived and began by stripping the roof down to the decking, where they found several areas that needed replacement due to water damage from the missing shingles. Once the damaged decking was replaced, we applied our trusted Velora underlayment to provide an extra layer of protection. Mr. Shawn selected IKO's Dynasty AR shingles in the Summit Gray color, our premium product. The team worked meticulously to ensure the roof was installed perfectly and took care to leave the property in pristine condition. We are grateful for Mr. Shawn's trust in us and were honored to replace his roof. It was a pleasure working with him!

Mrs. Andrel called MVW Roofing when she began noticing several areas in her home that were leaking. In multiple rooms in her home, there were visibly clear areas of discoloration on the ceiling. Our appointment specialist set an appointment for our Sales Representative, Logan, to come and preform a free roofing inspection on her home. Logan arrived and got to work right away assessing the damage Mrs. Andrel's roof had endured. He noted that there were missing shingles likely causing the leaking issue the homeowner was having. The surface of her existing shingles were very faded, and they were smooth to the touch. Brand-new shingles are one, uniform color, with a rough texture on top. Mrs. Andrel's roof was certainly past its intended lifespan. Logan the sales representative reviewed his findings with the owner of the home and gave her multiple plans of action to get the repair or replacement rolling. In the end, Mrs. Andrel felt it would be best to have the entire roof replaced. With that being said, this roof was added to the production schedule to be replaced right away. Our outstanding crew arrived and got to work right away ripping the old worn shingles off the roof. There was some decking that had to be replaced due to the rain penetrating through the wood. These affected pieces were removed and replaced with new OSB. After this, the Velora underlayment was rolled on as a protective barrier to seal out any leaks that may try to creep their way in in the future. IKO shingles in the color Weatherwood were chosen to restore this Lakeland residence. The finished product looks phenomenal! Mrs. Andrel's home is now 100% leak free! Our crew took their time ensuring that this resident's lawn was left spick and span with no remnants or nails in sight. Thank you for choosing MVW Roofing!
MVW Roofing recently visited Renee's home in Naylor, GA, to inspect her roof following a recent high-wind storm that impacted the area. After assessing the damage, it was clear that a few shingles had been torn off, and the roof had two notable areas of damage. This 2,400 square-foot, five-bedroom home, built in 2019, still has a relatively young roof. However, roofing issues can arise from improper installation or natural wear over time, leading to shingles tearing away as seen on Renee's roof.
Another concern was a 2-foot section of fascia that had been ripped off on the opposite side of the home. After evaluating the exterior, MVW Roofing proceeded to check the attic for any signs of moisture or water damage. Surprisingly, they discovered mold growth on some of the collar beams, which was linked to previous moisture damage that had infiltrated the attic space.
Renee was grateful for the thorough inspection conducted by MVW Roofing, which not only identified immediate roofing concerns but also revealed potential long-term issues that could worsen over time. This proactive approach demonstrates the value of regular roof inspections and repairs to prevent extensive damage. Thanks to the team at MVW Roofing, this home received the necessary attention before the situation could escalate.
