This historic home in Hartford, featuring a 100-year-old slate roof, was in need of a full replacement. We carefully removed the old slate and assessed the roof deck, replacing any damaged plywood to ensure a strong foundation. Next, we applied our high-performance SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield and VeloraONE Roof Underlayment to protect against moisture and leaks. Finally, we installed beautiful IKO Dynasty Frosttone Grey shingles, giving the home a fresh, durable roof that respects its historic character while providing modern protection and longevity. This home located in Hartford, CT was having serious roof problems. There were multiple shingles falling off and there was a leak from the roof over the back porch section of the home. To fix this issue we completely stripped the existing roof and replaced it with new asphalt shingles. After we stripped the old roof, we replaced 10 sheets of water-damaged plywood decking. To protect the home from outside moisture we laid down ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment which is engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface and new shingles. To make sure the structure of the chimney stays intact we removed the old flashing and replaced it with new lead chimney flashing. 

This multi-family home in Hartford, CT was in desperate need of a roof replacement. Klaus Larsen Roofing started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing 4 layers of damaged plywood decking. We then installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed the color Brownwood. Lastly, we removed and replaced flashing on the chimney and installed brand new lead flashing. Thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing, this building has never looked better!

Celebrating the 65th anniversary this year, the St. George Armenian Church in Hartford, CT is a very beautiful building. The Klaus Larsen team had the pleasure of replacing the roof on this historic building. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, rotted or damaged plywood decking was replaced. Three rows ofIce & Water shield was installed, along with Underlayment designed to repel water and adhere to the roof's surface. Brown aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the perimeter of the roof. The existing chimney flashing was replaced with new lead flashing. Architectural-style asphalt shingles  in the color of Teak, were used. This roof is now ready for another 65 years!
