While our crew was out in the neighborhood replacing another roof, this homeowner stopped by to chat with Project Manager David Rountree about getting his roof replaced as well. When David got up on the roof, he found multiple layers of old chipped and loose shingles. He recommended a roof replacement right away.
The project manager repaired the decking and nailed down new shingles to repair the damaged roof. Additionally, there was a leak around a pipe boot in the rear of the house. He replaced the pipe boot and repaired the damaged section of roof, fixing the leak.
Project Manager Nick Hammond and his crew replaced this roof with IKO Cambridge shingles in slate grey. The project took less than a day and also included a small section of rubber roof. The homeowner was pleased with the final results.
This was a very interesting roof to replace because a layer beneath it had cedar shake, and there was also an area of the room that was so low-pitched that we used EPDM!
A snowy roof replacement done in Somers, CT. We're lucky to have crews that work year round besides extreme weather conditions.
