Jason in Lebanon, CT, reached out, looking to replace the roof on an addition to his home due to its age and visible wear. He also wanted to explore options for replacing the main roof, depending on the overall condition and estimate.
After evaluating the space, we focused on the addition first, where the roofing system had clearly reached the end of its lifespan. Given the structure of the roof, we hand-sealed the gambrel planes to provide extra protection in those areas, helping prevent wind-driven rain and future leaks.
We installed a full roofing system starting with SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in vulnerable areas, followed by VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the decking. SealoronXT Deck Tape was used to seal the plywood seams, adding another layer of defense against moisture.
The project was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Glacier, giving the addition a clean, updated look while improving durability. The Klaus Roofing Way!
Here was a home in Mansfield Center that we roofed along with an accompanying stand alone garage. Ice & water shield was installed on the dormer with revamped lead flashing on the chimney.
This home in Mansfield had a roof that was old and curling at the edges. When we replaced the roof, the owners wanted the gutters replaced with new gutter guards. The entire roof was torn off and replaced on the same day. We then installed Aluminum Seamless gutter and LeafRelief gutter guards.
This single-family home was in need of a new roof. To start, we tore off one layer of existing roofing materials and replaced all damaged plywood decking. We installed 3 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Desert Tan. We finished the job by installing a Ridge Vent, which comes with a Weather Protector moisture barrier. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
