Wendi's home in Storrs, CT, was ready for a roof replacement after years of exposure to the elements. While every home has different roofing needs, replacing an aging roof before problems develop can help homeowners avoid unexpected repairs and maintain reliable protection for their property.
Looking to complete the project before an upcoming deadline, Wendi moved forward with a full roof replacement on the home. The project also included addressing key roofing details, such as a four-sided chimney and a vent boot, to ensure these critical roof penetrations were properly integrated into the new roofing system.
For this project, Wendi selected our Essential Roof System, a practical roofing option designed to provide dependable performance and value. The new roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Summit Gray, a versatile color that gave the home a clean, refreshed appearance while complementing the existing exterior.
Once the installation was complete, the home had a noticeably updated look and a brand-new roofing system ready to handle Connecticut's changing seasons. By replacing the roof proactively, Wendi invested in both the appearance and long-term protection of the property.
Adam's home in Storrs, CT was ready for a complete roofing upgrade after years of wear. The existing roof had two layers of shingles, making the replacement a more involved project that required removing both layers before installing a new roofing system.
Our crew completed a full roof replacement, carefully stripping the roof down to the decking and preparing it for its new installation. The project also included replacing the chimney flashing around all three chimneys, installing a new vent boot, and constructing two roof crickets to help direct water away from vulnerable areas and improve drainage.
To complete the transformation, Adam selected IKO Dynasty architectural shingles in Granite Black. The bold color gave the home a clean, updated appearance while providing durable protection against Connecticut's changing weather.
With the new roof in place, the home now has renewed protection, improved water management around the chimneys, and a refreshed exterior that's built to perform for years to come.

The fascia overhang was also revamped with PVC trim boards, which are fully recyclable and optimum for environmental health & sustainability when compared to wood and stucco. Finally, we installed a thermostat-controlled solar fan, so that the homeowner can keep a close eye on their attic temperature and how effectively it is being ventilated.
