We first replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down our Klaus Larsen Roofing SealoronXT Ice & Water self-sealing membrane to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection, we install our own Velora One Underlayment, a high performance synthetic underlayment designed to protect the home in even the most severe weather. For new asphalt shingles for this home, we installed IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles featuring a 1-1/4" nailing area made with a tough reinforcing woven band for incredible nail-holding power to protect the home against Mother Nature's fury. It's the Klaus Roofing Way! The homeowner chose the color Granite Black for their new shingles.

This low pitch roof was hastily and poorly done with rolled roofing. It had just enough of a pitch for us to go in with asphalt shingles and give it a brand new look!

Rusian and Kate in Northborough, MA, had a 25-year-old roof that was starting to show its age. During heavy rain, they noticed leaks in several areas, which prompted them to proceed with a full roof replacement on their home. Our team began by removing the old shingles and inspecting the wood decking underneath. We found a few soft spots around the boots and replaced up to three sheets of rotten plywood to make sure the new roof had a solid foundation. Next, we covered the gable vents so we could install proper ridge venting, which will allow the attic to breathe and prevent future issues with moisture and heat buildup. While up there, we also cleared away two old satellite dishes that were no longer being used. Once the prep work was done, we installed our full Klaus Larsen Roofing system with SealoronXT Deck Tape, SealoronXT Ice & Water, and VeloraONE Underlayment for maximum protection. The new roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black, giving the home a clean, modern look with strength to last for decades.
