Even though both the chimney and roof had been replaced within the last 10 years, water had been getting in around that area for some time. After inspecting the roof, our team determined the issue was coming from the flashing around the chimney, which needed to be replaced along with the surrounding shingles.

Our crew carefully removed the shingles around the chimney to expose the flashing and address the source of the leak. We installed new flashing to properly seal the chimney connection and prevent water from getting underneath the roofing materials. Once the area was secured, we installed new GAF shingles in the color Pewter Grey to blend seamlessly with the rest of the roof. With the flashing repaired and the shingles replaced, Alison’s chimney area is now properly sealed and protected from future leaks
