This Dutch-Colonial home in Amston, CT had an issue with leaking in their aging roof, and were in need of a replacement. They decided on a complete roof & gutter replacement, courtesy of Klaus Larsen Roofing! To get started, we tore off 1 layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 3 damaged layers of plywood decking. Next we installed 2 layers of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. For shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. In terms of the gutters, we installed 5" Aluminum Seamless Gutters by Englert in the color HI-Gloss White. This house is now complete with it's attractive & secure Klaus Larsen Roofing System!

This single family home in Amston, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials, we replaced 4 sheets of damaged plywood decking. In accordance with the new building codes, we sure to seal all joints of the roof deck with flashing tape. We also installed two rows of an ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. We finished the job by replacing the existing chimney flashing and installing a brand new vent pipe Perma-Boot. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

This roof in Coventry, CT was pushing twenty years. Klaus Larsen installed a full roofing system complete with new plywood, insulation, ice & water shield, aluminum seamless gutters and deck protection underlayment. The shingles on this colonial style home were wearing out and were quite slippery when walked on. We installed one new layer of shingles, with ice & water shield also included on the shed dormer addition. Finally, we carefully removed/reinstalled all existing outside skylight flashing and replaced the inside flashing with a purpose made flashing kit.

This raised ranch in Coventry had a roof that was about twenty two years old. The chimney was in dire need of flashing as well as repointing. This refers to repairing the mortar in between the bricks, so that the full structure is totally waterproof. As these shingles fully settle in, we will have another roofing project that we at Klaus Larsen are proud to put our name on.
