This home in Willington, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off two layers of existing roofing materials, we replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. In accordance with the new building codes, we sealed all joints on the roof deck with flashing tape and installed two rows of ice & water material near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color of Dual Grey. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

This small two family home's roof in Willington, CT has seen better days and was in need of a replacement. To start this project we tore away and disposed of one layer of existing asphalt roofing. We then inspected the roof's deck, where we found 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking which were then removed and replaced. To finish the job, we installed a ridge vent to provide the attic with ventilation and we also replaced the chimney flashing and vent pipe boot. This single-family home ins Stafford Springs, CT was in need of a new roof. The attic in this Storrs, CT Colonial was stifling. We found that faulty ventilation within the old roof was to blame for an overly hot and unlivable third floor. This home also experienced serious ice dams in the winter time, which are a sure indicator of poor air flow in the roof line. We installed a new roof with improved furrings and under-gutter vents. The owner has since reported that their upstairs living space is now comfortable, even on the hotter summer days.
