Julia contacted MVW Roofing after noticing signs of aging and wear on her existing roof. Concerned about long-term protection and interested in upgrading to a more durable roofing system, she reached out to our team of expert roofing contractors for a solution that would stand the test of time—and the elements.
We began the project by carefully removing all existing roofing materials down to the wood decking. Our team back-nailed the entire roof deck for added storm resistance, and we meticulously taped all plywood seams and drip edge to ensure a watertight seal. Any rotted or damaged wood was replaced with high-quality CDX or OSB plywood, guaranteeing a solid foundation for the new roof system. Where necessary, fascia wood and rafters were repaired or replaced to restore full structural integrity.
To protect against moisture and future storm damage, we installed Velora One synthetic underlayment across the deck, followed by Sealoron XT Ice & Water Shield along all eaves, valleys, and flashing areas. We then added black aluminum drip edge on all eaves and rakes, and sealed pipe penetrations with Perma Pipe Boot flashings for maximum leak protection. Julia chose the industry-trusted IKO Dynasty architectural shingles, installed with ring shank nails for superior hold in high-wind areas. We preserved and reused the home’s existing off-ridge vents and completed the job with clean, uniform ridge caps for a finished look. As always, our crew made sure to haul away all roofing debris, leaving the property spotless.
Julia’s new roof isn’t just beautiful—it’s built to last. With MVW Roofing, you get more than just a new roof—you get peace of mind. Whether you're dealing with aging materials or need expert storm damage roof repair, we deliver high-quality solutions with unbeatable service.
When Mrs. Jacynthia in Ray City, Ga, experienced storm damage to her roof, she knew it was time to call in the professionals. The roof had taken a beating from the weather, leaving it vulnerable to leaks, wood rot, and overall deterioration. Mrs. Jacynthia reached out to MVW Roofing to ensure her home was protected with a long-lasting solution.
Our team at MVW Roofing got to work by carefully removing the existing roofing down to the wood decking. We replaced any damaged or rotted wood to create a solid foundation for the new roofing system. Next, we installed Velora One synthetic felt and Sealoron XT Ice & Water Shield for extra protection, especially in valleys and around flashing areas.
To finish the system, we added new aluminum drip metal along all eaves and rakes, installed new vent pipe boot flashings, and re-flashed the chimney to prevent future leaks. We topped it all off with premium architectural shingles secured with ring shanked nails, ensuring long-term durability. A ridge vent and ridge caps completed the installation, allowing for proper attic ventilation.
Now Mrs. Jacynthia's home not only looks beautiful but is built to withstand elements for years to come.
Mr. Alan reached out to MVW Roofing when his roof began showing clear signs of wear and aging. Upon inspection, our team discovered areas of rotted and damaged wood, outdated ventilation components, and worn shingles that were no longer providing proper protection. Several vents and flashing were also in need of replacemnt or removal to improve the roof's overall performance.
Our crew began by removing the existing roofing down to the wood decking, replacing all damaged sections with new plywood. We installed Velora One synthetic felt for a durable underlayment and applied Sealoron XT Ice and Water shield in all valleys and flashing areas for added leak protection. New aluminum drip metal was fitted along all eaves, along with three new vent pipe boot flashings, and new flashing for the existing gas vent. We also installed a slant black turtle vent, removed outdated turbine vents, and upgraded the home's ventilation with a ridge vent across all ridges. The project was completed with beautiful new architectural shingles, secured with ring shank nails, and finished off with ridge caps. Mr. Alan's home now has a fresh, strong, weather-ready roof.
This customer decided to give MVW Roofing a call after a tree from their yard fell onto their home. Brad (the MVW Roofing Rep) went out to perform an emergency tarping and returned later for their free estimate appointment. Upon inspection, Brad found that tree not only ruined the shingles but also severely damaged the underlying structure of the roof. Brad recommended that we replace everything that was damaged to help bring back the integrity of this roof, and that exactly what we did!
A major storm ripped through Valdosta, causing tree damage to surrounding homes. This unfortunate homeowner needed some emergency help to replace the entire roof after a large tree branch broke off from a tree next to the foundation. This tree penetrated the shingles, underlayment, and decking, leaving a huge hole in the roof.
Debra didn't have much time to look around for a trusted contractor to replace her roofing damage. Luckily, she found MVW Roofing online and chose to give them a call. Our team made it a priority to get out to her home and assess the damage the falling tree caused.
Seeing that time was of the essence, my installation team was able to get this roof replaced before any additional rain or wind caused further damage to the interior of the home.
