When we did a full roof replacement for this home in West Chester, OH, we finished the project off by replacing the gutters as well. We tore down the existing gutters, and then we installed 171 ft of our 6" aluminum seamless gutters. We also added 99 ft of new downspouts. For the cherry on top, we added RainDrop GutterGuards to protect the gutter system. We began by stripping the roof down to the sheathing and replacing all wood that was not up to code. Next, we taped all sheathing seams and installed our premium underlayments — KRS Ice & Water Shield and KRS Velora Synthetic Felt.

The Ice & Water Shield was applied to all vulnerable areas such as edges, where its adhesive backing creates a waterproof seal around nails. We then installed IKO Dynasty AR shingles, which are Class 3 rated for wind and hail resistance.
