This home, built in 1993, required a complete roof replacement. Once a roof is aged over 30 years, this is generally around the time a roof needs a facelift. Jack went out to a home in West Fargo, ND, to do a complete roof inspection. Mitchell called Vita Roofing after a major hail storm. Due to the size of the hail and the damage it caused, Mitchell needed to have his roof checked out to confirm the extent of the damage. 

After the inspection, it was confirmed that the roof sustained considerable injury to multiple shingles. The hail strikes left 1" dents in the asphalt. Once the shingle is compermised, it is important to have it replaced. If not, water will seep into the areas where the hail left the marks and will cause deterioration of the roofing underlayment and decking. 

After Mitchell spoke to Jack about his options, Jack assured him that a roof replacement was the best option. If he decided to only repair the damaged sections of asphalt shingles, it would only be a matter of time before the roof would need to be completely replaced. He agreed to a full shingle replacement.
