We began by stripping the roof down to the sheathing and replacing all wood that was not up to code. Next, we taped all sheathing seams and installed our premium underlayments — KRS Ice & Water Shield and KRS Velora Synthetic Felt.

The Ice & Water Shield was applied to all vulnerable areas such as edges, where its adhesive backing creates a waterproof seal around nails. We then installed IKO Dynasty AR shingles, which are Class 3 rated for wind and hail resistance.
