We replaced this skylight for an apartment building in Cincinnati, OH. We used a 98" x 98" clear over clear acrylic dome skylight from Corken Steel Manufacturing. The clear over clear style allows for the maximum amount of sunlight and visibility. We made sure to seal the skylight at all the seams to ensure it won’t leak.

The owners of this home wanted a more modern look, and the first step was to replace their siding. We began by carefully stripping the existing siding, keeping the worksite clean with an on-site dumpster.

Next, we installed a vapor barrier over the insulation to provide proper moisture protection. Finally, we installed the new white vinyl siding, a perfect choice to complete the home’s modernized appearance.

This Cincinnati homeowner experienced storm damage to their roof, and during the replacement, we also upgraded the skylights. We installed Velux FCM skylights, known for their quality and durability, to enhance natural light and improve the roof’s overall performance.
